UM...first of all we are all still children at 19.  Most people don't become adults until they realize they have to pay bills and get out of mom and dads house which is right around 25, graduating from a 4 year institution or somebody is pregnant.  So a 19 guy isn't a man.  Now, women mature faster than men.  I am a woman.  Teenage females are pretty hot in the ass!  I'm sure those girls had sense enough to not let some idiot take pictures of them naked, they have sense enough to say "no, I don't want to have sex".  This article doesn't say he's a rapist.  So if the sex is concentual, wtf is the problem exactly?  Sounds to me like the parents need to keep a better eye on there children, not just the girls, the boys too!  There are worse crimes going on in the world right now which require REAL ATTENTION, REAL NEEDS! You people are worried about some hot in the ass teenagers? THAT'S WHAT PARENTS ARE FOR!  Let the boy go about his business, he's being a teenager!  He's having sex, he's 19! Good grief.

Wow. Now it all seems so arbitrary. Maybe they should follow the "Half my age +7" Rule. So even at 19, she would have to be 16.5 and at 17 she would have to be 15.5. Looks like he's on the edge there.

It seems to me that being 19 was fine up to the point he got caught....then, oops!  sorry, not 19.  That is very convenient. 

Whatever his actual age, he is absolutely old enough to know that you don't threaten someone with that kind of exposure, especially a 15 year old.  Douche move.

Yeah, he's guilty. Guilty of coming from another country and culture, when he was either 11 or 13, guilty of growing up during one of the most brutal civil wars (1991-2002) of the modern era. If he's a douchebag or an asshole, consider his upbringing, and the environment into which he was adopted. 

As for his age, that's going to be a tough one. Again, he was born and raised during a civil war that lasted better than a decade. He was adopted in 2005 when he was either 11 or 13 from a country in which 70% of its population lives in abject poverty. There may not be a birth certificate. There may not even be people still alive who can bear witness to his date of birth. In any case, it's going to be interesting and difficult to track down his true date of birth. 

So, in the end, he'll be tried based on a date rather than on his relative maturity, because that's the broad brush guideline we use in our system. 

I don't care either way, he's an asshole.Here's hoping big bubba don't use any lube when he gets ahold of him in lockup.Threatening the poor 15 year old girl, little shit has no right complaining.

Yeah, he is guilty of being a douchebag.. and that's about it. But if being a douchebag 80% (more or less depending on the day you ask me) would be in prison right now. 

Good grief. This is ridiculous. What a waste of time. Disgrace to anyone who has been legitimately raped/abused. If he is found guilty, this kid is going to forever be a registered sex offender. This kid is NOT a sex offender. He isn't a pedophile or a sex predator. 19 or 17.. This is just a horny teenage boy. 

Reading in between the lines, seems as though these parents are pissed that their daughters reputation has been tarnished. So now, to redeem their reputation, these parents want to play the rape card...
