• Yeah I must have missed the memo that went out saying that 14 is the new 21 coz I don't understand how these women could see a teenaged boy and be like man what I wouldn't give to pop that kids cherry. Even thinking about it is enough to make you hurl in your mouth alot.

• I agree with all the comments so far.  What really confuses me, though, is that with all the publicity about female teachers crossing the line with minor male students, a school board member ought to be more than well-educated on stories like that. She must have some serious issues with reality if she disregarded all that overwhelming "don't do this, you can't get away with it" evidence. 

• Well said....these women seem to be trying to be relive their youth. Most seem to be somewhat attractive, but I'd be willing to bet that they weren't the "popular, hot girl" in high school.

• Most cases show the female teachers pick out boys with low self-esteem, with relationship problems with their mothers, boys in abusive/neglectful situations with their moms; boys desperate for attention from adult females. Teachers target the most vulnerable, boys they can overpower and control by manipulation.  Often boys between 9-14 years old. They play a Mommy role, giving the boys extra nurturing attention and physically touching him with head rubs and back pats to initiate the manipulation.  They like the power over the boy's feelings, and the satisfying of their sexual perversions. The women are attracted to a specific age group, woman loses interest when the boy gets a year or two older.  Dumps him, moves to her next target. Most don't keep the sex going for more than 1-2 school years. The boy, young and vulnerable and already feeling the rejecting from a neglectful mother, is now suddenly rejected by the the new woman, the woman who made him feel like she saw something in him worth loving. But Mrs.  Smith used to smile and wave at school, now the boy waves and Mrs. Smith turns away.  She's done with him.  He's a confused emotional mess the rest of the school year, and has major trust issues in all future relationships. Happens all the time, we only hear about the teachers who get caught, and who the media spotlights. Fortunately society and media are improving, as they do we see these stories stack up.

• never never never in my very sexually active and slightly promiscuis life (I know I misspelled that) have I ever wanted to screw a kid. Young man. Child. Whatever. why in the hell would that even be considered a turn on for her. Hell, when I was a teen I didn't want to screw a teen boy. How nasty.  what a stupid, dumb ass pathetic woman. she deserves to lose it all.

• My own opinion is that there is a difference in the actual motivation between your average male child molester and a female.  For men, it's about power and sex.  They simply get off on someone young and can feel a power that their worthless, little dick selves can't ever feel with a grown woman. For women however, I see it more often a case of arrested adolesence.  Look how many female teachers get involved with their students.  It's not an indictment against all female teachers, but a lot of them go into teaching because they loved High School or in a way want a second shot at it. When there, they may have to be the teacher, but in so many ways, they identify with being a student, of being that young girl that can be caught up in all the romance, youthful sexual discovery, and feeling of rebellion.  It can be they wanting to relive it or in many cases have a chance to live it finally, after never having the chance when they were an actual student. They should simply have their husbands put on some 80's band t-shirt and they, themselves put on some knee socks and a plaid skirt.  It's at least legal.

• What part of losing your job and family, getting arrested and ruining your life makes sex or the idea of sex with a 14 YEAR OLD worth it to these women?  Judging by the photo, I don't think she's thinking it was worth it now!
