Did the people who murdered him believe they were morally superior to him in some way? Were they really that delusional, or did they just want some blood and he was the easiest available victim? Would they have killed one of his victims if she were accessible? What kind of morality could excuse or justify or mitigate anything any of them has done? It's that kind of warped thinking that allows people to molest, rape and kill in the first place.
I am all for what happened...I hope his pain was unbearable...and he rots in hell...
You haven't discovered something new that hasn't been known for a thousand years. Even prisoners have A SENSE OF RIGHT AND WRONG JUST LIKE YOU DO. They knew what he was, and they performed "justice on him themselves".
They should be given a medal for disembowling that POS. The ultra liberal Brits would be letting him out soon to prey on our defenseless girls. One less degenerate to support. May he rest in pieces.
They should be given a medal. One less degenerate to harm our children when the ultra liberal Brits let him out.
@mad81 What type of medal would you suggest giving the two killers who were in prison for murder anyway. One murdered two women after breaking into a nursing home and the other murdered some random person at a a cinema. What medal would you give two murderers?? maybe you should ask your grandmother what medal she'd give a granny killer?
I get that everyone's horrified (as they should be) that he raped a thirteen-year-old girl - a child. But I can't help feeling heartbroken for the thirteen-year-old boy who yes, did something awful even then, but clearly needed help and didn't get it. There needs to be a better way to treat children who commit crimes, if not for their own sake (which I personally think is reason enough) then for the sake of potential future victims.
Absolutely, until we get treatment for young offenders, we are not going to stop this problem.
@IzzaWhat you have failed to understand is that child sociopaths do exist. And they cannot be helped. I'm sorry that you're suffering from bleeding heart syndrome, but it would be better if you educated yourself and recognized that pure evil does exist. I'd say the prisoners who killed this beast did society a favor. He would've been released. The only difference is that, as an adult, he would have killed his next victim after he had used him sexually.
WTF guy with a daughter obviously didnt bother to check who nathan mann (one of the disembowlers).
7th
November 2007, Mann entered Hayes Park Nursing Home,
Leicester with the intention of robbing it.
He broke in through a downstairs window which was
actually the bedroom of two residents. Rashmi Badiani
aged 56, and Radhaben Chauhan aged 72. They were found
at 4am the following morning by staff. Mrs Badiani had
suffered head injuries and Mrs Chauhan had been
smothered
And you want this guy released for good behaviour? Obviuosly you don't give a shit about peoples grandmothers in nursing homes. Perhaps we should make sure he meets yours?
Michael Parr, the other inmate convicted of killing Mitchell was currently serving a life sentence for
attempted murder of a hospital patient.so it seems in the previous posts that Murdering grandmothers OR attempting to murder another is not as serious a crime as assaulting a child.
@goldcoastharry Sorry, Harry. I don't have to like any of them. Nor do I have to feel sorry when one of them gets some "sudden justice." If you live in the UK, you should be glad that Harrison won't ever be loosed again upon society to rape (and probably also kill) anyone else's son, daughter, wife or mother.
@January24 My comment was regarding the thought that the two killers should be given a medal & released. You missed the point of my argument but it figures.
JUSTICE!!! at last....dont care about all your morals, anyone who prays on children like this p.o.s. deserves everything he got. and those 2 criminals? they shud get a pardon and released immediately for "good behaviour". before you diss me for this comment, think about that LITTLE GIRL, who has to have counseling FOREVER because she was raped by this scumbag. And this is nothing NEW, in us, canada britian and all over the world, these pedophiles are placed in protective custody, anyone in general population will kill this p.o.s. and sometimes even in p.c. they get killed. Ill sleep better tonight knowing 1 more of these sickos is off the street and isnt a threat to my daughter. THANK GOD.
@guy.with.a.daughter I don't see it that way, Guy. I don't have to choose any heroes among these prisoners. I don't like any of them. I also don't weep when some of the animals kill another of the animals.
@guy.with.a.daughter . Nowhere does it say he injured anyone. Since when is rape a hanging crime when there is no physical harm?
I would bet he's the victim of too much testosterone. He hits puberty and can't control himself. I've seen this before. These prison types are the lowest and they need to feel better than somebody else. Pedophiles are perfect for their purposes. Oh sure, they say, I raped and killed, but I never touched a child.
I once had a teenage boy (17) accuse me of touching him. I had to take a lie detector test to make the cops leave me alone. Two years later, after serving in the military, he looked me up and apologized for it.
I was followed by police on more than one occasion after that. Apparently, they don't believe lie detectors. Yet, they use them as intimidation.
@radiobob805 @guy.with.a.daughter Bob, you're a sick man. If you ever have a son or daughter who is raped by an animal like Harrison, you will discover that your child has indeed been injured.
@January24 @radiobob805 @guy.with.a.daughter I write one thing and you read something different. Amazing. Then you call me names. Does that help your ego? It's a legal degree. Was it rape by intimidation, or did he physically harm her? And does anyone deserve to die like that? Finally, what made these scum his judge and jury? Frankly, I have been raped. I have been in an armed robbery as well. Pedos have to be locked up until science finds a way to redirect their urges. Don't forget there was a time when you would be imprisoned for the crime of oral sex.
I have kids and grandkids...FYI.
Boys will be boys. I am glad the SOB is dead. While it is wrong, it was done by criminals - you don't seriously think they have a moral compass to you?
I for one am not sorry that this POS died in a really horrible way - but frankly it is evidence that at least some scumbag criminals have some kind of moral compass. What did you expect - they are criminals. With any luck someone will do the same to them.
Disembowelment is not justice, no matter how severe the crime. If we choose as a society to use capital punishment for extreme crimes then it is our responsibility to execute these criminals in the most humane way possible. The moment we take pleasure in the torture of another human being, no matter how heinous his crime, we are no better than those we seek to punish.
@beefsupreme Don't be an idiot, Beef. This is not about capital punishment. This is about some of the animals killing one of their own. No tears for any of them.
@beefsupreme I suspect your tune would change had it been your daughter he stripped down and raped. I don't see people taking pleasure in the violent nature of his death, I see people perfectly content to learn of this sick degenerate's demise and nothing more. When a human commits such atrocities against humanity such as to rape and destroy the lives of young girls, they forfeit their right to be treated as human, as they have debased themselves to mere beasts, no longer deserving of the rights normally afforded their human appearance.
@kaufmanat1 You're being dishonest if you're claiming that people on this thread aren't taking satisfaction in the matter in which this man was killed.
If you're of the opinion that people who are convicted of sexually abusing children should be executed, then I think that is a valid point of view, and one we should discuss as a society. But what purpose is served in a brutal and painful execution? I maintain my point of view that if we choose to execute people, it must be done humanely. Righteous indignation never brought a loved one back from the dead, or erased the trauma inflicted on our children.
@kaufmanat1 When I read through the comments, I still perceive that people consider this man's brutal death as justice served for his crimes. I disagree with that, and I don't consider it justice. I think there's a fine line between justice and punishment, and we would be better served as a society to resist punishment, even for the worst of us.
You mention wiping the scourge off the planet. How do we actually do that? I think it's naive to assume that we can simply kill all child rapists and consider the problem solved. Are some people born with a predilection to sexually abuse children? Or are they a product of the environment they live in? If the latter is true, then we need to look within ourselves to solve this problem. Unfortunately, I think it's more likely that there is a small minority of people that will be born with a predisposition to sociopathy. What do we do with these people? What if we could identify who would grow up to be a sociopath? Are we to euthanize these people before they have a chance to hurt anyone?
At the end of the day, I think we have to resist the urge to feel satisfaction in a person's death. I feel much more empathy for the victims of these horrible crimes, but I can't help but feel a small amount of empathy for the criminal as well. I feel sorry for anyone who's lacking empathy, because that person has somehow been robbed of his humanity. The only thing worth doing in life is easing the suffering of others.
@beefsupreme @kaufmanat1 It perhaps was presumptuous of me to generalize and speak for everyone on the thread. However I do see a general consensus at the idea that people are simply satisfied with the justice implicit in his death, while I'm seeing very very little true endorsement in the violent nature of the man's death. Even I'll say I'm not upset to hear of his brutal murder, but I wouldn't say we ought to torture and disembowel all convicted child rapists, you are right, that solves nothing, though wiping the scourge off the planet does. I do think there is a big distinction between promoting violent retribution, and simply not being upset by the manner of one degenerate's execution while simultaneously feeling a sense of justice in his death, regardless of the means. A lack of concern does not imply endorsement.
I've been to prison, and it's not such a nice place to be. However, there are codes of justice, especially there, and people will be dealt with. The court system knew this, and sent him there most likely on purpose. He got what he deserved in my book, the little girl must have bled too. The guy who took him out probably improved his Karma
@gskin46 Sorry, but I fail to see how killing another human being would in anyway shape or form improve the karma of a guy (Nathan Mann) who killed two elderly women in a nursing home to end up in prison to kill again. @guy.with.a.daughter actually wants these killers released from prison for good behavior, the good behavior being killing another person. I fail to see what benefit to the community would be served releasing someone who killed two grandmothers in a nursing home and then killed another person while still in jail. Do you? Just because they say prisoners have a moral code inside does NOT make up for their anti moral behavior that landed them in jail in the first place. Scum are still scum. NO crime is better than another, its just their OWN insane way of making themselves think they are better than other crims because their crime was different. A murderer of grandmothers is just as much a cunt as a child rapist. unless your guy.with.a.daughter that is who thinks a granny killer deserves to be released.
@shanelpollard I find what he says disturbing, but I doubt he should be dismissed so easily.
1. Four and a half years for raping a young girl is "getting tough"? People serve more time for POSSESSION or marijuana...ABHORRENT
2. Sounds like these prisoners who killed this piece of filth should be given medals
@JackPrack Yes. Lets give granny killers medals. Not sure if you'd think that if it was YOUR grandmother who was one of the two Nathan mann killed after breaking into their nursing home.
Hey all you Limeys. Tell MP George Galloway that he is an Irish drunk.(redundant)
George Galloway and every other person wanting justice for the Palestinians will be an ice pick in your eye.
Four and a half years? What a joke. At least somebody guaranteed this guy will never prey on anyone again. I don't like prison vigilantism, though. I'd rather that the prisons be safe and civilized, and that the sentences be prolonged. Serial rapists should spend life in safe and humane prisons.
Ok, so let's say, god forbid, your little girl is savagely raped by a man...you feel her rapist should spend his time in a "humane" prison, safe from harm? You are so full of shit, you're a joke
@JackPrack You're wrong. that guy should've been kept safe from being murdered in prison was so the prison guards could then turn a blind eye while he was viciously ass raped for 4 and a half years.
@Bull57 But breaking into a nursing home and killing TWO elderly women is ok, which is what Nathan Mann was in prison for when he held this kid down, disemboweled him and intended to eat his liver.
Something's are out of bounds. Hurting and taking advantage of helpless children is one of them. If you don't agree I would stay out of prison big boy!
Guess he won't be raping any more little girls. Not right but well deserved. I for one am glad he's dead.
Um. Two wrongs don't make a right? People are in prison *as* punishment, not *for* punishment, and there is this thing about cruel and unusual..., you know. (Yes, he deserved a much longer prison sentence than 4.5 years)
He deserved the worst possible punishment imaginable. I say he got off light...Vlad the impaler comes to mind
I only feel sorry for his mother and father.......no doubt they changed their names and moved away. She was a councilor on Cumbria County Council. Obviously 'nice' well to do folk....nice home, nice car, nice holidays........just goes to show, you can't polish shit.
@Angelangel46 Psychiatrists now recognize that sociopathy sadly does exist in children as well as in adults. They won't put the label of "sociopath" on a person until he is 18. But that doesn't mean that certain children much younger than that don't also exhibit the signs and symptoms. The most honest psychiatrists admit that sociopathy is not treatable. In fact, some doctors will not accept sociopaths as patients because they know that they will be wasting their time. Some people are born evil. It's an unpleasant fact, but it is nevertheless true. Often monsters like Harrison can come from perfectly normal families.
