Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to One Month in Jail, Will Serve Six Days

Afternoon reading from the Village Voice Empire: Today Judge Stephanie Saunter sentenced Lindsay Lohan to one month of jail and two months of community service at the L.A. County morgue. However, thanks to prison overcrowding, the L.A. Sheriff's Department says she'll only serve six days in jail. Judge Saunter also ordered the celeb to stop tweeting. LA Weekly has the story.

geez....less than 5 hours in jail and already out again.... perhaps a revolving door needs to be installed with her name on it.

Here is an individual that the system has left behind to her own demise. It's so obvious, even to the courts that there's just no taming her. She's failed at everything they've thrown at her including numerous rehabs. It's unfortunate that we, as citizens, are forced to stand by and watch her degrade into nothing more than a gutter snip. I feel sad for this young girl as I am sure we are not far away from reading the next big headline of her being dead due to overdose or alcohol. This is one of the unfortunates who have not even a friend to care for her as we all know that our friends would not let us down the path she is traveling.
I know this sounds harsh, But at this point I'm just waiting for her to OD and not wake up this time.
Seriously, I think this is the only thing she has left. she's proven over and over and over again that she just does not give a flying Rat's ass.
I predict LL will be dead before 30 and I will be amazed if she makes it past 30.
I do not understand why they keep on trying to get her help when CLEARLY she does not care and want help.
Just give her all the drugs she wants and leave her to her own demise.
Those 6 days might save a life. Maybe one person will be lucky enough not get run over by her when she's wasted, as usual, in Los Angeles.
Why do they even bother if they aren't going to make her serve her time, it is simply a waste of time and tax payer money.... she's not going to change, all you have to do is look at her parents to know that. Then when she is released, she will do the same shit... I really hate it too, she had such potential.
IKR? It's all just ridiculous. I really don't get her. She's been afforded all these opportunities (opportunities that many, many people are desperate to get a chance at) and this is what she does with them. I just can't stop saying ridiculous when it comes to this chick.
One month, down to six days, down to nothing. I hope it smells really bad in the morgue. It's the least she should have to deal with for making everyone hear about her dumbass every time they turn on the news.
