I'm sorry, but 'putting an animal out of his misery', should NOT involve a prolonged bashing and stabbing. ESPECIALLY not by young guys who proclaim to be coon hunters. If they were close enough to hit the poor animal again and again and then skewer it, they were close enough for one forcefull kill-blow to the head or a swift slit of the throat. Instead they made it suffer - and i have a HUGE problem with that.
