She needs to die. That is so beyond fucked up because she KNEW what she was doing. You don't get that kind of training without knowing ALL the cross-contamination issues. So yeah, she knew damn well what she was doing. that is MURDER. I can tell you as someone who has had friends take the treatment for HEP C, this is not something you can just 'get a shot for. You have to take interferon for up to a year and has all KINDs of toxic side effects. plus not every one is healthy enough to do it. So imagine you go in for heart surgery and end up hep C positive. that would likely rule out being treated because of the cardiac issues with interferon. and this is surely far too late for something like prophylactic measures to be taken. I wouldn't want to sue, I'd want to KILL.
When the doc can tell you exactly what you are feeling when you feel it from the drug makes me think they take recreational pharmaceuticals from time to time....

I think what probably pisses me off most about the whole situation, is in reading that she would replace the syringes with saline, then go use the shot, why did she come back and put it back on the surgical tray...omg, she couldn't have disposed of it with out having to share her shit with others... personally, she should be jabbed with an extra large penicillin needle every day of those 30 years she's in for... you know the shots that feels like they are pumping caulking into you!
True, I know several people working in the medical profession and over 50% of the ones i know have a habit of popping codeine pills like they were M&M's
Sam, it's more a question of trial lawyers so messing up things that it's difficult for employers to dissuss past or possible new employees with each other. It's takes something like the extreme and justified hate of pedophiles that allowed proper background checks to be made for that sort of thing. Plus, apparently all she had was a spotty work record and nothing that really stood out saying she could turn into someone who would be so callous about other people's lives. As far as drug abuses in the medical system, I know as someone who arrested many of them (and dated others) that it's as common as wearing your scrubs home.
Oh, and whoever fails to do a proper background check on anyone before hiring them to take care of other human beings needs to be charged as well. This worries the shit out of me. If they can't be bothered to check whether the prospective employee has a habit of killing people, do they actually care and check if the prospective employee is a kiddy diddler? I'm so glad right now that i stayed with my little one when he had to be in hospital for a few days, no matter how uncomfortable the fold out bed was.
That's just sick. Assuming she doesn't have any common sense and isn't aware through normal media how risky it is to share needles, surely the training she must have undergone to become a surgical tech would have taught her that?? Did she know before she starting forcing her needles on patients that she had Hep-C? Cause in that case i would argue she's guilty of murder.
Wow, now getting help means exposing yourself to a potentially fatal disease. Hmm, whats up doc?
