• As a fellow businessman I support these gentlemen. They are victims of racist law enforcement and kangaroo courts. This is supposed to be the land of opportunity, and it isn't fair black entrepreneurs are targeted. They were running a legitimate porn business, and get the NAACP involved. One of these men was even a former cop who should be thanked for protecting his community. • Things like this piss me the fuck off. There was a case near me not too long ago where a nurse and mother to a small boy got basically butchered to death in the carpark of the hospital where she worked by her ex, who had been let out on bond. He was charged with raping her but awaiting trial, had a record of previously hitting her about and had known anger management problems. It really makes you wonder where these judge's heads are at to be able to put people like that out on the street, without much thought to the dangers that might put the current / potential future victim(s) in. It's tricky though. On here we only see the cases where it's gone horribly wrong, and these guys should obviously never have been let out (don't these judges look at previous records? If somebody keeps getting accused of similar things, wouldn't that be an indication to ANYone that they are probably not the best 'you behave now until trial, you hear?' candidates??) But everybody IS innocent until proven guilty. Can you imagine if your partner got falsely accused of rape and had to spend possibly a year in jail before trial and being proven innocent, because the law wouldn't allow for him to be let out on bond?
