• I bet you learned the lesson each time though! lol =)  I don't believe in beating children, but a spanking, or a harmless slap in the face(when deserved, of course)is something I think parents do too little of today.  I rarely spanked my boys, but only because after a few times, they knew the difference between acceptable, and unacceptable behavior! And they turned out really well, if I do say so myself!

• I havent been complaining. I said the police here are rough but for good reason. My brother is a cop, he deals with the lowest of the low in west/north Belfast and they deserve every baton stirke they get. I think such brutal tactics are necessary in an area where people firing a few shots or planting a bomb meant for the police or army isnt exactly rare at the minute.

• My gran got me a few times for misbehaving with a sally rod (not sure you know that that is) but it hurt like shit. I called the police on her when i was 5 and she never did it again lol.

• It would be nice if the law inforcers were all trust worthy and was able to beat the shit out of you, when you deserve it like your daddy did when you were little. It would be a lot easier... If only....

• It's actually quite impressive to still have the muscle control to be able to run after getting tased. I got a single one second 220V shock once (just HAD to touch it to see if it was live) and walked funny for 2 hours.

• Even the threat of a taser would stop me in my tracks I think. They dont really use tasers where I am, they either shoot you depending on what you have done of course or you will be in the back of the meatwagon getting the beating of your life (they get very rough here our police but with good reason). Actually now I think about it I would take the taser over that anytime.
