Poor SOB needed what he got. It could have been his game plan all along. Sometimes people just give up on life and find that the big house is the only way to go. If he's got any brain cells left he'll learn a trade while he's in and become rehabilitated and perhaps a good member of society. Sometimes it's just a shame. I kinda feel for the guy.

Sounds to me like he wanted to get caught. It's not like he actively tried to get away with it, and i'm sure as a homeless guy with medical problems three hots and a cot plus a visit to hospital sounded just peachy.
