Rock Star v. Playboy Model: Who Won?
Kyle Dyer, Anchorwoman, Bitten in Face By Rescued Dog on Live TV
Breakfast reading from the Village Voice Empire: Max, a giant Argentine Mastiff, had been rescued from an icy pond the day before. His owner and a firefighter watched as he latched on to Dyer's face, prompting a call to animal control and an emergency trip to the hospital. Westword has the story.

Sorry, it may make for good TV to get face to face with a rescued animal, but what dumb ass puts their face in front of a dog in a new situation?
-
Who around here isn't a Bitch? Wear that shit like a badge.....I don't see it as bitching.....I think of it more like motivational speaking
-
There are definitely more kid friendly breeds than greyhounds.
-
Yeah not the dog's fault. Deal with it.
-
Lol. Good luck on being able to figure that one out. This has just became a random stop on my web surfing. This place ain't any fun anymore.
-
I don't need to ask anyone. I like to judge for myself.
-
Well ask anybody around here. They'll tell you how I am. Just don't ask my stalker. She thinks I'm the devil.
-
Aawwww. You can't be that bad.
-
yes...and i don't like me much either. i'm a bitch.
-
LMAO about "still fuck you over". That was excellent. Thanks.
-
Don't take me wrong on this, I have no beef wih you.... Aren't you a human also?
-
Not if she as any sense. It wasn't an intelligent move on her part, especially with a dog that isn't very familiar to her.
-
It really doesn't matter about the owner... The person putting their face in a dogs face is crazy... She should go to Animal 101 classes before she has animals around her. Just my opinion.
-
Besides, speaking of lapdogs, I've had more of them try and chew my ankles off then a big dog want more than a rub on the head. Problem is that little dogs do less damage than big dogs. BTW, in this clip it all happened so fast i don't think the owner had much time to react. I wonder if he knew that she was gonna lean in for a kiss.

I saw the video the other day. Oh please!! You don't put your face in a large dog's face. Dogs aren't hard to read nor understand. This dog was out of his element with some obnoxious chick he didn't know trying to love on him. You can get away with that sort of thing with a smaller dog that is a lap dog who's mommy daddy and grandparents were lapdogs. They'll still react at times when their PERSONAL SPACE IS INVADED, as she invaded this dog's personal space. Damn, this is why I like animals more than people. If you respect and understand them you don't get hurt most of the time, unless of course they are just psycho bastards. There is no understanding a person and no matter how much you respect them they'll still fuck you over. It's my experience that most humans are psycho bastards.

I seen a vid before of basically same situation except the dog was German Shepherd police dog and was on the news because it had sniffed out a big drugs bust or something like that. The male presenter was stroking the dog around the neck and it nearly took his head off. I have always been brought up to love animals but to know the limits, never put your arms around the neck of a dog who could rip your head off is pretty much rule number 1. Dogs are easily scared, even the big ones and this is unfortunately the outcome when someone who doesnt know how to act around them fucks up. Not the dogs fault I reckon it was just a natural defensive instinct.

It's not real bad, he mainly nipped her on the lip, which will always look like a stuck pig when it bleeds... I haven't checked today, but I thought I read she was doing ok though. Bet she doesn't stick her dog loving face in another pups face...do you?
-
I hope they don't put him down either. It wasn't a random attack. I feel for animals when they get put in a position that frightens them. They really don't have any other way to protect themselves. I wonder how she is doing. I might look at the video later. I'm afraid to see it.
-
Yep the other thread was pretty long.
-
I watched the video on this and truth be told that woman should never have been down on the ground and in this dogs face. The dog had already experienced the trama of the day before, they put in the spotlight on a tv show that was foreign to them... sorry, but then she gets down in his face even with the fact his teeth were bared in warning.... Now don't get me wrong, I think the owner is in part responsible as they should have had a leash on the dog to start with. I am really hoping they will not consider putting the dog down because of this.
-
I tried, I really did, to wade through all the comments on the other thread, but there was just no way, there was just too much of the same thing being said. Anyway, I'm siding with the dog. The 'dog lover' here clearly has no prior experience with a dog, probably just claims to be a dog lover in hopes of boosting her ratings. The dog reacted naturally w/o any real viciousness. If she had been another dog, she would have only barely felt the nip.

My grandas greyhound bit me in the face when i was 5 years old, it wasnt fucking pleasant I can tell you that. I luckily avoided any serious injury or scarring but I didnt tell my granda the truth about what happened me because I didnt want him to get rid of the dog or put it down and 2 weeks later my little cousin got badly bitten by it. Still feel pretty guilty about not saying earlier, oh well I was just a kid.
