I dont consider it discrimination at all..Im a man and I would be pretty suspicious of a man that would work with such young kids. Dont ask me why I cant explain that, its the same reason i am suspicious of the guy who drives the ice cream van etc. Unfortunately these days we also hear about a lot of women abusing young children so I would be pretty suspicious of everyone and not want to send my kids anywhere.
We cannot go through a day without hearing about the latest teacher, clergy, scout leader, pediatrician, coach, single, gloved, pop star, or other, child care, involved, career pervert, molesting innocent kids. In case we haven't noticed the pattern, these pervs always try to find jobs or activities where they can "help" kids, and the more troubled the kids are - the more opportunities they seem to take. I say we have all these people take psychological exams before they are allowed to work with kids, and if they don't pass, we get to send them away where they can't be near kids, or other people for all I care.
When one becomes paranoid to the point where they're afraid of sending their children anywhere, well, get some additional education and home school your children.
Oops, I saw Kinder Care and that is a daycare [which I thought had been out of business since the 90s]. I didn't see the ex. Thanks.
It was a school, though, not daycare. He was a teacher. It's getting to a point where i'm just getting scared to trust my kids with ANYone. The main thing that pisses me off here is that parents had noticed his strange behaviour before - and not done anything about it?? WTF? I'm also quite put off at the "he'll never be able to "teach" in a KinderCare again" - suggesting that as long as the establishment isn't a KinderCare -he'd be fine. Fuck that - if he's let out of prison at some point he should be fitted with a 50,000 volt shock collar and we should be able to shock him if he so much as LOOKS at a child.
I wouldn't leave my children in a daycare with a man. Never. I don't care if it is discrimination.
I'm with you on that Stan. I just get tired of all the crime and shit that keeps all others wondering what might happen next. Makes the future a mighty grim place to be anymore.

Because of these nasty pedo's we won't be able to give our children a hug or a mooch in fear that we will be turned in for inappropriate behavior. Amazing what some nasty people do in this world that will affect all of us in one way or the other. Jezuz H Christ, we have become afraid. Because of all the losers, criminals and dag nasties, the good folk are going to be required to monitor themselves in an almost biblical sense. What a waste of life. Anyway, as for Kerr, hang him high, the no good pedo freak.
