• I could be mistaken, but I believe the US had to figure out a way to claim jurisdiction so they could try him here.  When they finally did is when Australia sent him back. Been a while and I could be thinking of another case that is similar to this.

What can they do with mud/snow/dirt  spashed plates which obscure the number Everyone realizes this has nothing to do with safety and everything to do with cash strapped municipalities resorting to highway robber.  You can travel any 4 lane road in the US and 80 percent of motorists will blow by if you are doing the posted limit.

• I liked her better back in the 80s. I suppose I just have a soft spot for people who have addiction problems.  Its very difficult and for some, impossible to over come.

• I think most all of these cameras take front and back pics because some states don't require a front plate. Around here a lot of people are getting these tickets thrown out.

• Reminds me about a story i read quite a while ago, where a motorist (can't remember whether it was a biker or a car) didn't have a front license plate. He thought since they wouldn't be able to track him, he'd show his displeasure at the roadside stationary speed camera by speeding through it a few times waving his middle finger in the air. He was even less pleased when he received half a dozen tickets a week later - turned out that particular camera took pictures of the rear of speeding vehicles, not the front... :)
