Ten Executions Gone Shockingly Wrong
Demi Muniz: Alien Smuggler Leaves Diabetic To Die In Ditch, But Doesn't Charge For Her Service
Prosecutors say Demi Muniz was transporting a van full of illegal immigrants from Houston to LA when one began to have a diabetic episode. She called the man's wife to say they were dropping him off near Amarillo because she had to keep moving. the man was later found dead in a ditch; on the bright side, Muniz told the wife she didn't need to pay because her husband didn't make it all the way to LA. Houston Press has the story.

Although the individual is wrong for leaving the victim to die, so the victim was wrong in seeking illegal entry. I know it sounds harsh but in todays society, when both have dirty hands, well, what do you do. I wish my best for the departeds' family and that's about the best I can do except also wish the worst on the low life that dumped the body.
I think it goes with the f*cked up territory, SicRic. You are doing something illegal by transporting illegals so WTH are you supposed to do when something like this happens?? Just glad I don't have this on my conscience, ya know.
Frankly, I blame the USA. If they would take care of this fucking border problem......there wouldn't be a problem. And they can take care of it. They just won't.
Actually, there's nothing to be done. As heinous as this crime is it's just that, another crime performed by another criminal. The USA has attempted to fight the illegal situation but now it's election year soon so you can bet, nothing will get done as to obtain the Spanish vote. Oh well. I think I feel more for thpoor American towns that sit on the border. Should probably hurry on the wall, apply some serious high voltage to it and shoot on site...lol...
Whats sad is that many good US citizens spend their own time driving out in that hot desert boarder with water and first aid kits trying to help those who come across but get stuck in the middle for whatever reason. They can't legally drive them [illegals] back across but they can give them an umbrella for shelter, water and granola bars til the next person comes along. The entire situation is sad. No matter how you look at it.
LOL, and yeah....what happens to criminals is their problem.
You are correct on your assessment. And the shoot on site portion just makes my nipples twitch ! (and I'm a guy !)
On one hand the driver, or "Coyote" as they are termed, could have put him off on a bus stop by a hospital and drove away. He would have been treated, taken into custody and deported.
On the other hand I live in Arizona 40 miles from the Mexican border and am of the opinion that illegal border crossing is a stepping stone crime. I know, I live with it everyday. While illegals don't deserve to die they deserve to be locked up and sent back.
People always ask me why I feel this way. Besides all of the crimes they commit on a daily basis there are other reasons such as the true story I am about to tell you.
A van packed full of illegals was involved in a high speed chase on I-10 between Sierra Vista and Tucson. It crashed ending in multiple serious injuries. Multiple Medivac helicopters were deployed to pick up the seriously injured. During this fiasco a wife of one of my friends had a head on collision north of Tucson and needed to be airlifted to a hospital. No Medivacs were available. They were tending to the criminals. She died en route to the hospital in an ambulance.
So I say Fuck 'Em. From the property damage, to the litter, to the thefts, to the rapes, to the murders ( Oh, yes. Don't kid yourself.) to the services due the citizens of Arizona and the United States.
Fuck 'Em and hurry up and finish that fucking wall already.
I agree, fuck 'em. I live in a very small town about an hour away from Flagstaff, so no where near the boarder but we still have crazy s*it happen here from time to time dealing with illegals. I have witnessed shoot outs at intersections, cop chases & even a raid in a restaurant here last year. Its effin unbelievable!
So sorry for your loss. I'd probably feel the same way as you, were I in your position. I've never even been in a border state, let alone lived in one, but I've heard quite a few horror stories and can't imagine what it must be like.
Yeah maybe, but these people know what the score is before they make the run. It sucks that the USA won't take control of the boarder problems.
Oh I totally agree there. I don't think that people should come here illegally. But to leave a man on the side of the road to die when all he needs is a quick shot of insulin is pretty damn heartless. He shouldn't have been trying to come here, but I don't think that that should be a capital offense. Especially when the person handing out the death sentence, is just as implicit in his crime if no more, IMO.
