Breakfast reading from the Village Voice Empire: Dan so hates photo radar that he purposefully sped past a van so that he could get snapped giving a finger to the camera. Funny stuff -- until he was greeted at home by a process server. Westword has the story.

Yeah I can imagine the situation is tough on the whole family. Just let him know you are there for him. I may have to go for that ride... I took today off, since I have a drs appointment in the middle of the fricking day... screws up my schedule when they do that.

He used to really like the kid, did all kinds of favors for him and the such. I told him he needs to just let it go but he's like almost 90 and well, ya know how some folks are when they get old. They just refuse to think about the good things so they don't have to look at the bad. It may mean I'll have to go to NY just to make sure he doesn't do anything not so smart like. lmao...yeah I have my moments. Weekend was good, didn't get to ride, was gearing up to redo my home office, gonna pull the carpet and put down pergo type flooring. Finally found the desks I want for it so was actually pretty productive in my efforts...lol
I understand no weekends, used to be in retail...I didn't know you were supposed to be off on the weekend...lol

As for me, well, on a resort, there is no such thing as a weekend off. Spent alot of it just going thru TCR and hitting the like button on the folks I know in here. Gotta keep up those numbers...lol
It was on here but it wasn't about him being served. It was like a chuckle of the day kinda thing, I'm sure to give us all a little light heartedness during these evil times. The problem is, is that in the media's effort to give everyone a warm and fuzzy, it backlashed on the poor SOB with the broken finger. I mean I'm sure he was just trying to cool that finger down. Just a shame that some things that make us all smile for a moment is done with someone paying a price. You'd think that LE could just let this one slide.Jeez
