I remember masturbating that young. In fact, my 4 year old has already discovered the 'happy stick'. For me the issue isn't that she was supposedly caught masturbating, but that they are trying to portray that she went straight from a private pleasure to accusing her cousin of rape. What 9yo would even think to do that? Unless, for instance the cousin was in the room when she supposedly got caught - so an easy scapegoat. That's sickening. I actually had a look at the website - they used a pic of Chad in uniform to cash in on him being a veteran, and they dug a sympathetic looking one out of Melinda that must be at least 10 years old. Really, THAT's the last time she smiled??
It's very unprofessionally set up, in fact to me looks more like a fake, phishing website than a genuine, linked-to-attorneys one. But worst of all - they are making it sound like this little girl, from age 9 to 15, somehow planned a whole conspiracy to make them look bad. They intimate e.g. that she intentionally didn't eat, lost weight, rifled through garbage bins for food to make it look like she was starving; only to start eating again after being in protective custody and suddenly gain 17 pounds in one week. If she really is so severely mentally disturbed as they are trying to make her look, how would she even be able to form such plans, not to mention execute them?
It kinda looks to me like they aren't so much asking for money, as they are trying to put out a story to make them look better and the victim look bad. Absolutely disgusting people.

I was thinking the same thing. If my daughter refused food to the point that she was bacoming emaciated, my ass would be taking her to the hospital and having her put on a feeding tube.
