Guns make you safer? Minneapolis gun permit holder robbed with own pistol

It's often argued that guns deter crime. Of course, one counter-example doesn't refute that line of argument, but still... consider this story evidence that packing heat can sometimes come back to haunt the person doing the packing. A Minneapolis man lawfully packing a pistol was recently robbed with his own gun. City Pages has the full story.

Bottom line, don't carry one if you can not contain it. Don't pull it unless you're going to use it and if one should ever gain the opportunity to gain control of your's, run like hell, call the police and rid the streets of that menace.

That's why you should carry a backup piece in addition to your primary. Ask most cops.

 You are correct, News. One should always have a back up piece in each shoe, behind the back, in the crotch, and of course - in the crack of your ass.
