"Mamma's Boy" Found Guilty of Murdering His Mother, Stabbing Her Eyes Out

Dominic Chagolla was described as a bit of a mama's boy in court documents obtained by The Phoenix New Times detailing the death of his mother, Maria Chagolla, in December 2010. Turns out, he wasn't that much of a mama's boy, as a jury found Dominic Chagolla guilty of first-degree murder in his mom's stabbing death. The Phoenix New Times has the full story.

Really dont understand what could make things seem so bad in your head or life that would make you kill ANYONE much less your own mom. I grew up in foster homes and found and met my mom at 18. She turned out to be not much of a mother...cold and cruel...but oddly enough..i still love her for some wierd reason i dont understand. I would never even entertain the thought of killing her. I just have nothing to do with her. It hurts but being with her hurts more. Shes pretty much a stranger to me. Ahh well thats life sometimes.
I am so sorry, Carla. I can tell you this....I grew up with a mother who was cold and cruel and crazy. It isn't any better than growing up without them, I promise. Its over rated either way. But, I'm like you, indifferent to her with absolutely no hatred. In fact, I have no feelings for her. That is the saddest of all.

This is what you get for enabling your child... An ungrateful asshole with entitlement issues. Who wants to lay odds mommy was either going to cut him off, or she'd denied him something she couldn't afford, thus starting up the madness... Not to blame the victim here, but seriously, you're not helping the kid out by not making him earn his own shit/ support his damned self.
Exactly, Laura, but entitlement issues aside. A kid isn't going to respect a parent who has little to no expectations of them. He probably hated her for taking care of him and not molding his lame ass into a responsible adult. Sad to say about a mother but its true. Wild animals give their kids only so much time before they are kicked out into the world. Doesn't matter to the mother whether they sink or swim. Humans are just pathetically sick and demented enablers these days. And its often more for themselves than their kid.
Seriously, he really hated her to have stabbed her in the eyes. That says it all.
