Billy Jack Melton brought his brand of drunken southern justice to the most sober of occasions -- a 6th grade choir concert at a Minnesota High School. Upset about being kicked out of the concert, Melton challenged the school principal to a fight, then kicked some cops' asses before finally being subdued with a forearm shiver. If my husband showed up drunk at one of our childrens school events, they would have arrested ME for kicking his butt all over the parking lot. Geez what's wrong with these people?

Now here's my type of red neck. This is like a self portrait of me in my youth. I have since learned, that when confronted by a badge, that the term, yes sir, no sir goes a long way farther than the jail house. Going to bet that this is one jailhouse rocker that's going to stew for some time. Why in the hell would he show up at a family function drunk anyway? Jeez!!!

It was a school function, but nonetheless, like you, why the hell would you show up drunk at your childs event....geesh

I know My2...I don't get it these days. I mean hey, I'm all for getting a buzz on but when I go anywhere as to where any of my Family may be, I go in with the action of pure respect. I would have to hide my head in shame if I ever did anything to cast doubt on my familys' honor. I can even begin to think what this poor kid is going to have to go through now because of the idiot's display of drunken stupidity. What a mess he's made.
