Breakfast reading from the Village Voice Empire: Bratt needed a meth fix despite having already been fitted with an ankle monitor. His lover says he headed to a homeless camp, where he was drinking wine when a stabbing spree broke out. Self-defense or dark urge? Westword has the story.

That poor girl was nothing more than a skeleton. How could anyone do that to their child? That mother should NEVER get custody of her kids. The CPS system is broken and needs immediate fixing.
Those parenting classes really got me. Like - after all that, they are still willing to give the children back to her as long as she has some parenting classes?? Besides which, if you can't even be bothered to FEED your damn child, what the fuck good are parenting classes going to do??
