Minneapolis police Sergeant in jail after nearly killing man with alleged bar sucker punch

Brian Vander Lee was talking loudly on his phone while sitting with friends and family on the patio at a suburban bar Saturday evening when a man walked up to him and asked him to quiet down. Surveillance footage shows that just seconds later, the man waylaid Vander Lee, nearly killing him with a single punch. It was later discovered that the suspect is the executive officer of the Minneapolis PD's SWAT team. City Pages has the full story.
