Chasity DuFour, Angered by Potty-Training Issues, Accused of Shaking Child Until He Went Blind

Police and prosecutors in King County, Wash. say 25-year-old Chasity Renee DuFour shook or choked a 3-year-old child under her care until he suffered blindness and a brain hemorrhage. According to charging documents filed in the case, doctors expect the boy will suffer from "lasting neurological and physical challenges." And all of this, according to authorities, may stem from frustration over potty training. Seattle Weekly has the story.

 Oh my gawd, the boy had potty-training issues, how outrageous! Please! You hurt your own son over something so trivial, your own child. Instead of shaking him senseless, you should have taught toilet training to your child, instead of blaming it on him. You are a mother, so act like one. I hope they do not put you in jail for a few years, but for life, I hope your other kids are taken away from you, and I hope for a punishment in jail, they should make you read parenting books and make you use the bathroom other than using the toilet. I am not going to say I condone people as old as you are to have children, but I have a few friends who have kids and are around my age, that are mentally capable of having kids. To the boy, you will be alright sweetheart, you are in much better hands (no pun intended) right now, you are a joy to many, do not forget that.
