Rachel Dudley: Charged with Animal Cruelty After 'Bad Breakup' Leads to Dead Kittens

Authorities in Tacoma, Wash. say 25-year-old Rachel Dudley ditched out and left two kittens in an apartment she rented without food or water for nearly a full month. When the apartment manager and a maintenance worker stumbled upon the scene, one of the kittens was dead, and the other was near death -- with a vet forced to euthanize it two days later. Dudley's excuse: a bad breakup. Seattle Weekly has the story.
