Very interesting and I had forgotten that he was trying to get elected as a third party. So, how long has this been working for us?? Geez! Americans are so afraid of change. I tend to agree on most points about immigration. Canada and other countries allow for a dual citizenship and I suppose that isn't a problem until they get into it with another country and you have to decide where your loyalties lie. But, most other countries don't allow you to become a citizen. Unless you marry one of their citizens and even then it isn't a guarantee. Or if you are financially sound [meaning Rockefeller rich]. Sometimes too if you have a skill, trade or education that they desperately need. But, none are nearly as liberal as the US is. Especially agree about the language. When I was in my first semester of college in Miami, I couldn't even get a job as a bank teller because I wasn't fluent in Spanish. It was even that way at some restaurants. WTH??
