A Houston man was stabbed in the neck but somehow had the strength to hop in his car and drive himself to the hospital. Unfortunately for him, the hospital he decided to drive to had recently shut down permanently. He eventually was taken to a facility that was receiving patients, but it was too late. The Houston Press has the story.

What a traumatic end. Imagine driving yourself to a hospital, close to death, and finding it closed. Hospitals really should send notice to everyone within their "zone" that they're closing, and what other medical facilities are in the area instead, in case of an emergency. Sad.
