Breakfast reading from the Village Voice Empire: The soon-to-be-engaged young woman's body was hurled 200 feet after being struck at around 65 miles per hour on a city street. But after Esquibel was busted, his mom tried throwing his girlfriend under the bus. Westword has the story.
