Ricky Carr, 53, Impersonated a Police Officer to Con Money from the Elderly

Breakfast reading from the Village Voice Empire: Fort Worth man Ricky Carr, 53, was arrested recently on theft charges. More specifically, Carr has been booked because for a while there he told old people that he was a police officer and needed to inspect their freshly drawn cash. Police say he's nabbed over $100,000 of the elderly's money this way. Dallas Observer has the full story.
