My friend was abused by a scout leader in Boston back in the 80's. I found him on this list, and read the file. .None of the info was new to me except the half-assed way BSA dealt with the guy. He was caught by his boss at BSA sending polaroids of naked teens through the mail with the BS logo on them from a Boy Scout Shop. They also apparently apprehended a letter from a mom accusing him of abusing her son. They didn't call the cops. They just made him resign. He was never arrested as a result of his crimes.

Thanks BSA.  Way to protect scouting at teh expense of scouts.
