Breakfast reading from the Village Voice Empire: The murder has been unsolved for more than twenty years when Scherer fessed up. But the cops didn't have enough evidence to hold him then, and by the time he did, he'd split. How'd they find him again? Westword has the story.

@Stanley_Ipkiss Its crazy that there always seems to be one moron like this guy who thinks its a good idea to confess. I don't understand it. Same with the Memphis [AR] Three - one of those fools confessed too and all three ended up spending about 15 years in prison. To make matters worse, because of the confession, when they were granted a new trial, they took an Alford Plea because they were convinced they would be convicted AGAIN. So, they still have a felony murder record for something they very likely aren't guilty of. That is one case I'd love to see solved and someone put away for life.

Family is all well..had a hilarious halloween although I will be training twice as hard as normal for the next couple weeks. Never knew I had such a sweet tooth lol. Just glad I managed to get back to commenting here although the place seems to have died off pretty quickly.
