Mercedes Farquharson, the fake God of Monroe, NC

After living as a fugitive for four years — first in Spain, then in Bulgaria — Mercedes Farquharson is back in a North Carolina jail, accused of essentially enslaving three girls on a Monroe, N.C. farm from 2001 to 2005.

Our story begins in London in the 1990s, when the mother of Jasmine and Holly Lloyd had just divorced and was struggling to raise her two daughters. So she allegedly gave the children to Farquharson, who convinced them she was a God-like deity and ordered them to obey her every command.

Though details are still a bit sketchy, they supposedly moved to a North Carolina farm in 2001, where Farquharson is accused of basically treating them as indentured laborers. The kids, along with another adopted girl named Emma, were starved, beaten and held out of school…

Dayle Shear claims to have predicted Jaycee Lee Dugard’s return

Benjamin Radford, the “bad science” columnist for the site Live Science, clearly isn’t a fan of the use of psychics in criminal cases. He argues that all too often they make predictions that are “either wrong or so general
and vague that it was useless,” then claim victory when the general and vague come true.

In this instance, he’s speaking of Dayle Schear, a Reno psychic who was hired by Jaycee Lee Dugard’s parents in the abduction of their daughter 18 years ago. On her website, Shear claims credit for “solving numerous
cases including finding lost possessions, locating
missing items, missing
persons, murders, by seeing
into the past, present and future.”

And now she’s claiming she envisioned where Jaycee was generally being held, and predicted the girl would return to her parents one day: “I looked her [Jaycee’s mother] in the eyes and I said… eventually she’ll
walk through the door, you’re going to see her again.”

But Radford has a different word for it: Bullshit…

It’s just a guess, but this guy probably won’t do well in prison

Newsweek called him a designer to watch just two years ago. He’s appeared on Tyra Banks’ show America’s Next Top Model and fashioned clothes for Paris Hilton and Mary J.
Blige. But for the next 59 years, he’ll be wearing California prison blues and warding off inmates who might enjoy shanking a dainty little serial rapist.

That’s the sentence handed down to Anand Jon Alexander, the budding Beverly Hills designer
who was convicted last fall of being a chronic Hollywood creep. Prosecutors say Alexander found prospective models on the Internet, then lured them to his Beverly Hills apartment with promises of modeling work and accommodations at swanky LA hotels — sweet vows that rarely materialized.

The 34-year-old fashionista was convicted of raping seven women and girls at his apartment. He seemed to have a predilection for going perv on younger women. His victims were ages 14-21.

Alexander didn’t help his cause by firing his attorneys and defending himself during the trial. He also attempted to play the You’re Persecuting Me Because I’m Indian Card, to no avail. And even if he survives a California prison, he still faces investigations in New York and Texas, where he’s believed to have run similar scams.

On the day 5-week-old Israel Santos disappeared, police say mother Asuncion Avila-Villa called 911 to claim an ex-boyfriend had taken the child. “I was just calling ’cause … one of my ex boyfriends came to pick up one of my sons,” the 26-year-old from Hamilton, Ohio told dispatch. “… He said he was going to take him. He hasn’t come
back yet.”
So police spent all night looking for the child — before finding him the next morning, left for dead in a garbage can with a fractured skull. Now Avila-Villa is charged with murdering the child to cover up the fact that the boy’s father is under age 16.

Jonathan V. Frazier claims he put his 10-week-old son Cecil to bed Thursday night. When he woke up Friday, the child was gone. That led hundreds of volunteers in Bellingham, Washington to spend the weekend looking for the infant, to no avail.
But police now say they’ve found the child’s body not far from the family’s home. Father Jonathan is said to be cooperating, and the child’s mother has been ruled out as a suspect. She checked into prison on a robbery conviction the day before Baby Cecil disappeared.
UPDATE: Police are now holding Jonathan Frazier on a $1 million bond, alleging that he was responsible for leaving Baby Cecil in the woods. The child apparently died of blunt force trauma to the head. Frazier has four previous convictions for meth related crimes.

Would you want a sexual predator going to school with your daughter?

Under normal circumstances, the answer would be a resounding no. But a case in Springboro, Ohio isn’t exactly normal.

At age 14, Nick was convicted of raping a 13-year-old classmate. He’s since been designated a sexual predator. But his Mom says Nick isn’t a run-of-the-mill creep. He was sexually abused for years as a youngster. He’s bipolar and suffers from post traumatic stress syndrome because of that abuse. To top it all off, he also suffers from mild autism, leaving the now 18-year-old with a mind of just 13. Mom also contends shrinks have decided he’s no longer a threat to anyone.

“Talking to my son in private at night, you know he’ll sit and cry and
say ‘mom why can’t I be in school,'” she told WDNT-TV in Dayton. “I’ve been told point
blank over the phone that no matter what he was, any registration of a
sex offender cannot go to Springboro schools.”

A St. Paul 4-year-old gets a fashion lesson from these assholes

Stamp Kenny T. Jackson’s forehead with a giant L for Loser. The reputed St. Paul, Minnesota gangbanger has been charged with malicious punishment of a child for allegedly smacking his 4-year-old.

According to St. Paul police, Jackson’s stepfather called 911 complaining that Jackson was throwing things around the house. He supposedly ripped a blue shirt off his four-year-old son and was hitting him because the kid was wearing the colors of the Crips.

Jackson, according to the stepdad, is an efette member of the Bloods, the Crips’ dreaded rivals.

When police arrive they found the kid scratched, crying, and with a shirt. Jackson denied that he’s an asshole of the aforementioned magnitude.

In 2006, a neighbor called the Contra Costa County sheriff’s department to report a backyard encampment at the home of Phillip Garrido (see raw video of encampment above), the man now accused of kidnapping Jaycee Lee Dugard and holding her hostage over an 18-year-period.

Unfortunately, admits Sheriff Warren Rupf, the deputy who inspected the yard that day blew it off as a code violation, not knowing that Garrido was a registered sex offender — though the sheriff’s department had that info.

In a strange and sad case out of Garwood, New Jersey, 62-year-old Ermina Errico has been indicted in the starving death of her 25-year-old daughter Emily.
In 2007, police responding to a 911 call arrived at the Errico home to find Emily already in full rigor mortis in a bedroom in her family’s duplex. At 5-foot-7, she weighed just 97 pounds, and was wearing sweatpants and a plastic bag fabricated into a halter-top. An autopsy revealed she’d died of anorexia and malnutrition. Police believe the college graduate starved to death because her controlling parents severely limited the food she ate…
