Los Angeles police are searching for 30-year-old Miguel Herrera, wanted in a brutal attack against his girlfriend on Halloween night. The victim says she showed up late to Herrera's apartment that night, and they got into a argument. So he decided to teach her a lesson.

Noor Faleh Almaleki is hospitalized in life-threatening condition
Someone better tell Faleh Hassan Almaleki he's not in Iraq anymore. In this country, we don't do honor killings. And we sure as hell don't try to kill our own daughters.
But that's exactly what Almaleki intended to do when ran over his daughter, 20-year-old Noor Faleh Almaleki, in a state government parking lot in suburban Phoenix. Relatives say dad fought with his daughter over becoming too westernized and not living up to traditional Iraqi standards -- which, we might add, are not very fun if you're a 20-year-old woman in America...

UPDATE: Police have made another arrest in the murder of Kate. See update after the jump...
After going to the gym, a drug store, and dinner at a Japanese steakhouse with friends, Kate Waring disappeared in the night of June 12. The well-to-do woman from Charleston, South Carolina had drug problems in the past, but this didn't look like a relapse. Her mom said she'd vanished without her clothes or her daily medicine.
When her father Thomas Waring filed a missing persons report, he said something strange had happened between his daughter and two friends, Ethan Mack and Heather Kamp. She was scared of the pair, but dad didn't say why.
Now it turns out that Mack and Kamp had dinner with her that night at the steakhouse. Though they claim to have dropped her off later in the evening, the evidence is starting to say otherwise...
